Pickup from the lodge at approximately 3:30pm and transfer to our jetty in the national park. We depart at 4pm for a sunset river cruise with 4 courses of tapas and drinks included. The cruise wraps at sunset — we can drop guests back at their lodge or deliver them directly to a restaurant if they have dinner plans.
The Zambezi changes character at sunset. Light goes gold, then pink, then deep red across the water. Hippos surface. Elephants come down to drink. The boat is unhurried by design — slow enough to see things, comfortable enough to stay a while.
